How do I drain the oil in a Craftsman lawn mower with Briggs and Straton engine?

It's about 2 years old. Not sure the correct way to drain the oil.How do I drain the oil in a Craftsman lawn mower with Briggs and Straton engine?
In the underside/blade compartment of the mower is a drain plug.......remove it after cleaning grass buildup in the cavity.....let the oil drain out. Will drain quicker if you also remove the oil filler cap after removing the plug. Let drain until runs dry........Then replace the drain plug, add recommended oil for lawn mowers to proper level, replace filler cap.........Starter up.......How do I drain the oil in a Craftsman lawn mower with Briggs and Straton engine?
On the bottom there should be a plug, not a to put a wrench on, but to take a ratchetand extension without the socket, insert it to drain.... lift it up on blocks work, just enough to put a clean bucket under to let it drain. (then take it to the right guys, advance, autozone, etc.) insert the plug good and tight and fill with 20 ounces (not a whole quart!) or oil. hd-30 wieght is good to use. If this is a pushmower.... there's also the other way, to drain it out the dipstick. I'd suggest running this oil for a couple hours and draining it again then do it again one more time, because there's metal bits everywhere from breaking in (oil will be silvery, this is normal for the first 3 or so changes)

If its a riding mower, theres a drain plug on the right side.... its either a extension or a plastic pop and drain plug. Should be around 1.5 quarts... for any engine, if not sure... fill then check, fill then check... till its to the full mark on the dipstick.

Also if the air filter is original.. replace if so.
pull the oil drain plug out!!!!
